Your goal and season progress

Your goal, your route, your pace. Here's how to set it and keep an eye on it.

Your goal

How do I set my goal?

You pick a distance goal when you register, and the progress bar at the top of the Record tab shows how you're progressing. To change it, tap EDIT GOAL.

Can I change my goal partway through?

Yes, any time, in either direction โ€” and there's no shame in either. Life gets busy, and a goal you'll actually reach beats one you set in a burst of optimism. Once you pass your original target the button becomes EXTEND GOAL, and when you hit your goal we'll offer to bump it up right there.

What's the schedule option?

When you edit your goal you can tell us how often you usually move each week. With that set, the Record tab gives you a gentle nudge like "You'll want to move 3.2 mi in the next 2 days to reach your goal." It grays itself out when you're comfortably on track, so you'll know without having to do the math.

Miles or kilometers?

Whichever you prefer. Your season goal is set in one, and every individual activity has its own Mi / Km toggle โ€” so you can log a run in kilometers even though your goal's in miles. We'll do the conversion.

Seasons

What's a season?

A season is the event you registered for, with a start and end date. The Record tab shows one at a time โ€” if you're signed up for more than one, hop between them with My Seasons in the menu.

What's the Practice button?

Before your season opens, the main button says Practice instead of Add Activity, with a countdown to the start. Practice lets you try the whole tracking process as many times as you like, so there are no surprises on day one.

Season totals only count activities dated inside the season window, so practice won't add to your progress. Some seasons skip practice altogether โ€” if you don't see the button, yours is one of them.

What else is on the Record tab?

  • Currently active โ€” how many people are out moving right now. Nice to know you're not alone at 6 a.m.
  • Recent Activity โ€” tap through to everything you've logged.
  • Season Gallery โ€” recent photos from across the season.
  • Heads up โ€” a nudge when a challenge opens in one of your other seasons.

What happens when the season ends?

The Record tab turns into your recap: total distance, active time, activities logged and badges earned. Your badges and lifetime stats stay with your account for good โ€” see Challenges, streaks and badges.
