This Privacy Policy describes the privacy policies and practices of Run Across America which is operated by Cockpit Mobile Inc all referred to by "Run Across America" regarding its Apps (Run Across America), website “nationwiderun.org", and all associated or ancillary Run Across America services or platforms provided in conjunction with the App (collectively, "App") however accessed and/or used, whether via personal computers, mobile devices, tablets, handheld devices, or through other interactive services, features, applications, and downloads.

We refer to subscribers, customers, users, and others who download, access, use, purchase, play, and/or subscribe to the App as "Users" or "User", "You" or "Your" throughout this policy.

Most of our Users will use the App as intended, as a harmless way for friends and strangers to play together. Please take care with how you play the App, and how you manage your information and communications on the App.

Please be aware that any Personal Information that you voluntarily disclose on any public forum on the App or through any action including but not limited to messaging within our App, is publicly available and can be read, collected, or used by others, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. Run Across America is not responsible for any third-party use of User profiles, personally identifiable information, or any other identifying information that you voluntarily choose to disclose publicly using the App.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is subject to the Terms of Use Agreement. Your use of the App and any Personal Information you provide in using the App is subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use Agreement.

Information Run Across America Collects

Users may need to provide all or some of the following in order to use the App: Facebook ID, App Center ID, Google Play Apps ID, AndroidID/IDFV, GAID/IDFA, IP Address, and/or MAC Address, and also for your order you provide, your full name, address, shipping information, profile information to Run Across America to use the App (collectively, "Personal Information"). All such Personal Information is collected by Run Across America solely to provide the service. If You connect to our third-party customer support ticketing platform, we may collect Your e-mail and additional Personal Information to address Your support request, which may include connecting Your Personal Information to Your App ID to resolve the support issue. Run Across America does not permanently connect this Personal Information to other information in the App. Run Across America will only store this Personal Information for so long as is necessary. Other than this, Run Across America does not collect other personally identifiable information and does not connect any information about Your use of the App with any of Your Personal Information or any other personally identifiable information.

When You play our App, we collect certain types of technical information that is not Personal Information about Your mobile device, computer, tablet, or any other method used to access and operate the App ("Device Information"), including but not limited to device platform, type, carrier, default language, country, and time zone (collectively, "Device Information").

A User's Personal Information and Device Information will be retained for each User for as long as Run Across America’s business needs require as determined at Run Across America’s sole discretion, unless the User contacts Run Across America and requests to have his or her Personal Information and/or Device Information deleted in accordance with the procedure outlined in the section titled "How to Delete Information Obtained by Run Across America."

Use of GPS and Location Information

Our App uses GPS technology and other location services to track your activities and participation in events within the App. Location data helps to provide functionalities related to geographic positioning and is essential for the full use of the App. Location data is collected only with your consent and can be disabled at any time through your device settings, although this may affect the functionality of the App.

Data Protection Officer

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to ensure our handling of your Personal Information complies with applicable data protection laws. The DPO can be contacted at hello@nationwiderun.org.

Children’s Online Privacy

Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, we do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. If it comes to our attention that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

EU Data Subject Rights

If you are residing in the European Union, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase any personal information we have collected about you through the App. You also have the right to data portability and the right to restrict processing of your data. These rights can be exercised by contacting our support at hello@nationwiderun.org.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Run Across America reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and are effective immediately. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.
