Feeding America delivers more than 4 billion meals each year to people facing hunger in communities across the country. Run Across America is proud to support Feeding America to help get food and funds to where they’re needed most:

  • Contribute during registration. As you register for the event, you can add an optional contribution to Feeding America to your cart. We also cover the cost of credit card fees so Feeding America gets every penny you intended.
  • We'll double your gift. Every dollar you contribute to Feeding America through our website will be matched by Run Across America.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, unemployment and food insecurity soared. In 2022, 49 million people turned to food banks and community programs for help putting food on the table.

Volunteering at a food bank or food pantry in your community is incredibly rewarding.  You'll be able to directly help people in your community, plus it's a fun, social environment. It's also incredibly important: the pandemic has made the need even more great across the country.  Find out more at feedingamerica.org.

What has Run Across America raised so far?

Since our first event in June 2020, together we've created more than 7.98 million meals for Feeding America!  That's more than $798,000 contributed. Read more about our impact together so far here. 

Can I fundraise with my team?

Today, we're only able to accept contributions to Feeding America at the time of registration.  If you would like to fundraise more with your team, you can contribute at feedingamerica.org/runacrossamerica.  Note that we're not currently able to track fundraising totals by team with this form.

Does the registration fee go to charity?

Registration fees are used to cover all of the costs of producing each event, from creating, printing, and shipping your merchandise to buying enough servers. It's also how we fund the Feeding America contribution matching program described above.

Can I get a tax receipt?

As a social enterprise, Run Across America is unable to provide tax receipts. For a tax receipt, please give directly at feedingamerica.org/runacrossamerica. Thanks for your generosity!
