After registering, you'll receive a text and email with the app info. You can also download them directly:

If the app asks you for a code to log in, use the code on your Order Confirmation page.
Settle in and team up
Race day is more fun with friends. We know you run in multiple circles, so you can create and join multiple teams. 📚 Book Club, 🏢 Coworkers, 🏘 Neighbors, 👨👩👧👦 Cousins, 💪 Spin Class—you can make a team for all of your groups and race together. On race day you'll be able to cheer each other on and see results for the team.
Join a team
You can join as many teams as you like. On the Teams page of the app, you'll find options to create a new team or join an existing team. If a friend invited you to join them, select Join Team and enter the code they sent you. You can also discover featured teams, including teams from our partners at the bottom of the page:
Customize your teams
Anyone on a team can customize how it looks. You can rename it to better reflect your group and choose one of 100+ icons to represent you all. Remember, everyone on the team will see the change when you make the update.
Practice makes perfect
Before the event, you can complete practice runs to make sure you're ready for race day. On the Race page, look for the Practice button to start. This is your chance to try different tracking methods and routes to find the best setup for your race:
Does the app work with Strava?
The app has everything you need to participate in the event; however, if you already have a fitness recording app or device of your choice, we can import your tracking information from Strava to use as your race track. It still has to be recorded on the date of the race—Saturday, October 3rd—and imported to our Run Across America app by the end of the event.
Does the app work with my treadmill?
Virtual races work best when you get a chance to get outside and record a GPS track. We understand that right now, that's not possible for everyone. If you want to participate and use a treadmill, the app does have an option to manually enter a time for your results, though your time will be marked as manually entered and is subject to review.
My order had more than one registration. How do I get the other people set up?
If you had more than one registration on your order, you'll receive multiple texts with links to forward to your friends so they can get set up with you.
I'm getting an error that my email or phone number is already in use.
Each account must have a unique phone number and email address. If multiple people from your household are registering, please use different emails and phones to get set up.
My team seems to be missing some people.
Your friends will show up in the team as they set up the app. If you don't see them there yet, send them a note to get it installed. The Invite button on your team has a text ready for you.
Eek! The phone number on my order was a landline.
No need to panic! As long as your email is right, you can use the link in your email to get set up, too.
I don't have a smart phone.
We offer alternate ways to submit your time if you're unable to access a smartphone. Contact us for details on how that works.
It's been a little while and I didn't get a text or email yet.
