The short answer: Run Across America is a virtual walking and running challenge that supports Feeding America in every season. Add a gift when you register and we match it dollar for dollar, up to $50, and every $1 helps provide 10 meals. Together our community has provided more than 8.48 million meals since 2020. The current season is Holiday Hustle 2026, November 1 through December 31, 2026.
How the match works
- When you register, add any gift to Feeding America.
- Run Across America matches it, up to $50 per order.
- So a $25 gift becomes $50, which helps provide 500 meals.
Feeding America is the largest hunger-relief organization in the U.S., working through a network of more than 200 food banks. We've supported it since our first virtual 5K in 2020, which raised over a million meals.
What you do
- Choose a season goal from 50 to 500 km.
- Move however you like: walking, running, cycling, dog walks, yoga and more than 50 other activities all count.
- Log it in the app and watch your progress, your team's progress and the community's meal count grow.
- Get your reward in the mail at the end of the season.
Other ways to move for Feeding America
- Charity Miles is free and turns each mile into a small sponsor-funded donation to the charity you pick.
