Holiday Hustle 2026 is about more than miles this year. Holiday heroes are the people working all holiday season so the rest of us can celebrate with a table full of friends, family, and food: food bank and pantry staff and volunteers, nurses and caregivers, 911, fire and police crews, and everyone keeping stores, transit and deliveries running.
Holiday heroes join free
If you're working through the holidays, your Holiday Hustle registration is on us. Sign up free as a holiday hero and pick a tee size. Tees go to heroes in sign-up order as our community gives them, and we'll let you know when yours is on its way.
Everyone can pitch in
- When you register for Holiday Hustle, choose "Donate my shirt to a holiday hero" and your tee goes to a hero instead.
- Sponsor a holiday hero's free registration for $27.50. Run Across America matches it, so together you cover one hero's tee and entry.
Tell us about your holiday hero
Has a holiday hero saved the day for you? Maybe a nurse who stayed late, a driver who got the gift there on time, or a neighbor at the food pantry. Share the story in the comments below. We read every one before it goes up, and only your first name shows with it.
